The name of the band, NyLas comes about from the name of the two members by LAbi and arNY with plurals at the end. Their music is characterized as easy listening with electronic music, sometimes fused with folks and rocks. Two adults around their 30s are in love and inspired with children’s songs. They often write songs filled with childlike fantasy and innocence that uplift the spirit of listeners. NyLas performs in a fashion that’s simple yet humorous that often makes their audience left lighthearted. 

They recently release the first complete album “/’naɪləs/”. This unique musical album not only records all the wonderful songs, it is also a picture book illustrated by LAbi. A tiny studio behind a small café ran by a lady, her husband and some music-loving friends gave the impression of humility, sincerity and passion. People may have passed by the place many times, but most of them have missed the opportunities to experience the unique pleasant music, which is like an inconspicuous cactus on the outside but is actually a brilliant diamond inside in the field of independent music-making in Taiwan.
