Hakka in Love

TELUS TAIWANfest aims to introduce the wedding traditions from Taiwan, including those of Hakka’s customs. From childhood to teenage, Taiwanese Hakka Association will perform a musical play about people’s search for attention and love which often ends in the marriage and building a family together as the beginning of another journey. The show will composed of singing and dancing as the story pushes forward. There will be traditional Hakka folk songs to popular music spoken in two different dialogues of Hakka to illustrate the customs of a wedding and lifestyle of Hakka.
