Orz Boyz

“Grow up doesn’t mean to say good-bye; slow down and let your childhood courage to catch you up.” This film is based on two boys with rocky home lives. To cope with the reality and pressure growing up, these two boys cause troubles, pull pranks, tell lies and dream of fantasy. As a result, they are dubbed as “Liar No.1” and “Liar No. 2”. Relying on their imagination to sooth out their vulnerability, these two mischievous boys go after their dream zealously. They believe of a hyperspace portal that will allow them to visit another universe and grow up to a better life. They make pact to pursuit this dream eagerly.

The film captures the spirit of childhood. Despite the turmoil, as children make the journey to adulthood, they always adopt to creative way to grow stronger. The movie won Taiwan’s Golden Horse Award for Best Actress while at the Taipei Film Festival it went on to winning Best Actor and Best Artistic Director.
