† TaiwanFest is partnering up with Metro Vancouver and Tzu Chi Foundation this year to reach the goal of diverting 80% of the waste generated at the festival. We have made it mandatory for all the vendors to purchase and use festival provided environmental friendly food containers and utensils to help us achieve the goal. Vendors will not incur any additional cost as these environmental friendly containers will be sold to the vendors at the cost of the typical disposable containers out in the market.
